Keith Forde wins February KZN Senior Tournament at Selborne Park.

The fresh, gusty wind that blew up later in the afternoon did little to cool things down on a very hot and humid day at Selborne Park GC on Tuesday 4th February 2025. The day however provided an opportunity for those players who have entered the KZN Classic, which is to be played at Selborne over 6th and 7th March, a chance to get in some practice for this forthcoming event.

Solid golf was played by the winners in all divisions with Keith Forde (pictured) returning a level par round of 72 gross to take first place in the A Division. Second place went to Kevin Ullyett two shots back with 74 gross. The Best Nett position went to Hennie Heyns with a gross score of 78 less 8 handicap = 70 nett. Runner-up was Kennith Commins with gross 77 less 5 handicap = 72 nett.

There were three players tied in the B Division all on 36 individual stableford points. First place and winning the count-out process was SS Mzimela. Second was Ganas Naicker and third was Mike Sekobane.

There were only two places paid out in the C Division and these went to the winner, Bridg Rambujan with 36 stableford points and runner-up Dean Algar with 32 stableford points.
