Gitesh Maharaj wins Bluff Mid Am Monthly

The winner of the KZN Mid Amateur Monthly tournament played at Bluff National Park Golf Club was Gitesh Maharaj from Amanzimtoti CC with a score of 71 (Featured Photo).

Joint second was Bruce Marx (below left) and Kalvin van Rensburg (below right) who both shot 72. Well played!

It was a small field of about 20 players and the weather was quite cool in the early part of the day with a slight breeze. The tournament was enjoyed by all and prizes were presented by Graham Dickinson and convened by Ashwin Krishen. Thanks Graham and Ash. This was the final Monthly Mid Am tournament prior to the Mid Am Champs in August.

Upcoming tournaments are the IGF North Coast Open taking place at Prince’s Grant GC on Sunday 14th July and the 36 hole KZN Mid Amateur Championships which is at Selborne on Sunday 4th August.

The next monthly mid amateur tournament takes place after the KZN Mid Amateur Champs. The tournament takes place on Saturday 10th August. at Toti.
