The KZN Senior Championship was played over two days, 18 holes per day, in perfect weather, at MECC The Lakes on the first day (3rd March) and on the second day (4th March), where the players moved to The Woods. We had over 70 players and a good representation from the other provinces.

It was an exciting finish to the KZN Senior Championship when Kevin Ullyett, from Zimbali CC, faced off against our KZN Classic Winner, Lyle McNeill, Durban Country Club in a playoff for first place. Kevin Ullyett from Zimbali CC won the playoff. Congratulations to Kevin and Lyall. Both players scord 139. Third was Kevin Sharp from Eye of Africa with 140. Our A division Super senior winner was Morgan Phillips from Victoria CC with 144.

B division was won by Omprakash Ramlakhan, MECC, who won on 73, from Robin Singh, Greater Durban on 72. The Super Senior B divison winner was Paks Pakiriy from Athlone with a score of 69.

Well done to all the winners. Both tournaments, The Classic and The Champs were a success and thanks must go to the organisers and officials for their hard work. Well done!
