KZN Senior Amateur Results from Royal Durban GC

It was nice to see a good turnout for the March 2025 monthly tournament held at Royal Durban Golf Club on Tuesday 25th. A great deal of work had been undertaken in getting Royal back into shape following the recent flooding due to excessive rain over recent weeks. The rough however needed to be avoided, as many players found out to their cost.

There were good scores in all divisions though, despite the thick rough and recently treated greens. Winning the A Division was Sean Fenger (pictured being congratulated by Brian Olsen) who played steady golf to return a one-under par gross 71. Runner-up was Alan Landsberg with gross 75. The Best Nett in the A division went to Kenneth Commins with a score of gross 74 less 5 handicap = nett 69. Second Best Nett was Noel Parsonage with 74 gross less 4 handicap = nett 70.

In the B Division, Devanand Brijlall played some good golf to finish with 42 individual stableford points. Second was Dave Fisher with 39 points o.c.o. from Morgan Subramany also with 39 points.

Lennie Subbiah took the first place honors in the C Division which was closely contested with Mike Sekobane and Jayaram Naidoo in second and third position, all with 39 individual stableford points.
