Lyall McNeill (DCC) won the KZN Senior Open Championships held at Kloof Country Club over the 9th-10th March 2025 in a close finish by one shot from Keith Forde (DCC) in a close tussle on the final day of the tournament.

On day two, Gary Welsh (KCC) returned the best score of 72 which unfortunately was not enough to off-set his first round 79. In the leading pair, Keith Forde shot 36 on the first nine and came home in 38 to finish on 74 and a total of 141 for the tournament while Lyall McNeill turned on 33 but dropped four shots in the final three holes for 40 on the back nine which was enough for him to finish just the one shot clear of Keith on 140 gross to win the KZN Senior Open Championship trophy and gold medal in the process.
