Altin vd Merwe achieves rare double at KZN AMATEUR

The Leading Strokeplay qualifier and 2023 KZN Amateur Champion Altin Van Der Merwe with the Acting President of the KZNGU, Mr Brian Olsen.

Mr Brian Olsen (Acting President of the KZNGU) together with Altin Van Der Merwe and the CEO of the Ernie Els and Fancourt Foundation, Mr Hannes Van Niekerk.

“The KZN Amateur Championship was played at Victoria CC, Pietermaritzburg, between the 16^th and 20^th August, 2023 with 75 entrants from all over the country including entrants from the Ernie Els and Fancourt Foundation. In a rare “double” achievement Mr Altin Van Der Merwe of the EEF was both the Leading Strokeplay qualifier and Amateur Champion”.
