Jean-Pierre van der Watt, Humewood GC, beat Ivan Verster, Pinnacle Point GC, 4 & 3 at Port Shepstone CC on the final day of the 2024 KZN Amateur.

A field of 63 players from all over South Africa and some international entries teed off at Port Shepstone on Wednesday 14 August. After 2 qualifying rounds on Wednesday and Thursday the top 32 went through to the matchplay which started on Friday through to Sunday.

The leading qualifier was Jordan Burnand from Ebotse Links on Thursday leading into the matchplay.
